Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of store-bought puff pastry
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Spread out one sheet of puff pastry and put it on the baking sheet that has been prepared
Toss the blueberries with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a large bowl until they are well covered
The blueberry mixture should be spread out evenly on the puff pastry sheet, leaving a little space around the edges
Put the second puff pastry sheet on top of the blueberry mixture after rolling it out
Use a fork to crimp and press the edges to seal them
Mix an egg and brush it on top of the tart to make it golden
Cut a few holes in the top crust with a sharp knife to let the steam escape
The pie should be baked for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly
Let the tart cool down a bit before cutting it into squares
You can serve it hot or cold
Have fun!
